Upgrading Linux - Kernel Changes...

    When I update linux - do I need to reinstall? In otherwords, is the hypervisor tied in to the kernel - if so, then when I update the kernel would I need to reinstall?

    It depends on the patch you applied to your kernel. Generic answer is yes, it is better to do so.
