Upgrading to Windows 7

Hi - I upgraded to Parallels 5 last night, and am currently running Windows Vista virtually on my iMac. I want to upgrade to Windows 7, but I wanted to make sure I would be able to use the Windows 7 upgrade disc, and not have to buy the full version. Is that possible? Any tips or tricks I need to know?

I also would like to know, especially if one can... err... upgrade in-place on the virtual machine itself, much like you can with regular PCs.

I'm putting in a support ticket as well, we'll see if that yields much of anything.
