Over the weekend I had a power failure for over 24 hours. Once the power was on, I could not get back on to Parallels which also means Windows. I have no idea how to fix this problem. I have some very important files on the Windows side that I would like to retrieve if possible.
Someone told me that Windows probably crashed and I will have to re-install it.
How do I do that? Do I need to re-install Parallels as well? Is there any way to retrieve my files that are on Windows or will I lose everything?
Someone else told me that they never save any files on the Windows side only the Mac. I use Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel ALL the time. Is that possible using Parallels to share the files with the Mac side? I do not have any Microsoft Programs on the Mac side and I don't intend to purchase any at this time.
If someone could please help out I would greatly appreciate it!
Also I am very new to using Mac computers and Parallels as well so if someone would be so kind and tell me step by step on how to fix this, that would be very helpful.
