I have a Plantronics headset and am trying to use the Cisco IP Phone on Windows XP SP2 but it either comes in very staticy or cuts the call after about 5 minutes of being on the call with someone. Has anyone been able to use these two together with positive results? configuration: Mac Sound input and output is set to the Plantronics headset. Parallels sound is set to the Plantronics headset. Parallels USB is not enabled to Plantronics headset Cisco IP Phone is set to Intel integrated audio.
I have been using a similer setup with Dragon (voice recognition program) for a while with no problems. Use the windows sound recorder to record some sound from your headset, then play it back through the headset to test your sound setup.
