USB Hotsynch for Palm 700p broken in 3094

I can't Hotsynch my Palm 700p in a 3094 Win XP virtual machine, Parallels tools shows the "Palm Handheld" active in the USB list and Win XP shows it as installed, I get the hardware connection tone whenever the 700p is plugged in and when the Hotsynch button is pressed, but it never communicates with the Palm Hotsynch software (which displays as active). I've reinstalled the Palm software. It worked fine in 1970. This is an important bug to me as Palm support is one of the few reasons I use Parallels. (Mac support for most Palm conduits in nonexistent.)

System:
Mac Pro 4 GB RAM, OS X 10.4.8
Parallels 3094 Win P virtual machine 1 GB, 40GB NTFS virtual disk

You are not alone in viewing restoraton of Palm Hotsync capability as critical to Pararallels Desktop usage. Please see thread http://forum.parallels.com/thread6804.html
