Has anyone received this blue screen when accessing a usb device?

I've been attempting to setup my Canon DR-2080C scanner to work within parallels. I noticed another poster claimed to have succeeded using Windows 2000. However, I'm using XP.

Basically parallels has been very stable, except for when I do something to access the scanner, then Windows BSODs.

Seems like there are very few of us using these canon scanners, I'm quite anxious to get these working within XP on my Mac. Any luck after these past few months?
