I have two identical USB mass storage devices - I use one to hold my Parallels image files since the internal drive of my Mac mini is too small. I'd like to be able to use the other device within the VM.

Since USB devices are identified by the Vendor strings I have a 50/50 chance of unmounting my Parallels image if I attempt to connect the other USB disk the VM since I have the choice of two identical items in the USB drop down list.

It would help if there was additional identification of a mount point for the device you are about to connect in the USB device drop down list. I realise that a USB hard disk could have multiple partitions and thus multiple mount points but the mount point of the first partition would help with identification.

Alternatively Parallels could exclude devices that it was using from the list or display a warning dialog (not ideal interface design) if the user attempts to use a USB device that is already in use.
