Hi, At various times over the last eight months or so I have asked assistance with this problem: I am running NavPlanner, marine navigational software, that requires the presence of an SD memory card: http://www.landfallnavigation.com/navplanner.html NavPlanner runs fine natively on a PC, and on an iBook G4 with Microsoft’s Virtual PC version 7. With Parallels Desktop, the error messages that come up are as described in the attachments. I have tried Windows 2000, as well as XP. I have gone through every built of Parallels Desktop 2.5 and now 3.0 Is there anyone who can advise me? As time goes by, this is becoming more urgent.
No, I have not. There is another upgrade to Parallels Desktop that came out shortly after Christmas, specifically addressing the USB issue: http://download.parallels.com/stuff/Parallels-Desktop-5582.5-Mac-en.dmg I have not been able to test it with my NavPlanner, as I am away from home for the month of January. Maybe you can test it, and let me know. I‘ve noticed you run a G5 processor. You could use Virtual PC from Microsoft. I use it on my wife’s G4, and it runs NavPlanner... Cheers, Klaus
