    I have today a problem which is that I cannot plug my printer to the USB port of my MacPro. It says "USB device you are trying to connect to the virtual machine is being used by another application. Close that application or unplug the device and plug it again..."
    But I took the precaution when plugging in OS my USB memory key to unplug it through the command "eject" and it still does not work. I tried another USB port with no success.

    Can someone help me solving this problem?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Dormoy
    What build of parallels are you running?
    Did you upgrade your MacOS recently?

    You have to update Parallels Desktop to build 3214
    go to Help->Check for updates

    Check for updates?

    How do you get the "check for updates" feature to work? I've had it running for 20 minutes, now, and there has been no response. Is there any other way to download this build? I note it's not available on VersionTracker. Thanks!
