USB printer unavailable

Thread was moved from "Parallels Workstation for Windows and Linux > Installation and Configuration in Windows and Linux" to "Parallels Desktop for Mac > Windows Guest OS Discussion".

I can no longer access my USB printer under Parallels. I get the message that it is being used by another programme, which is not correct.

This probelm has just started.

Any clues please?

 

This is the entire error message, which I have never seen before and which does not make sense.
"USB device you are trying to connect to the virtual machine is being used by another application. Close that application or unplug the device and plug it again. Then try to connect the device again."

 

I discovered that there is a later version (3214) which I have now installed and thi shas solved the problem.
