USB Problem in Linux (Suse 10.0) Guest

    USB Problem in Linux (Suse 10.0) Host

    Hello,
    i have always th same problem in on my Suse 10.0 Host when i connect the usb:
    Unable to connect USB device to virtual machine!

    I maked the changes in th /etc/fstab
    usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs devgid=100,devmode=0664 0 0

    100 is th group of th users.

    When i was logged in as root, there is no problem.

    In Suse 10.0 there is no usb group :confused:

    Is this a SuSE problem, or is it a Parallels problem? You have said that both your host and guest are SuSE 10.0.

    If it works as root then you have a Linux security problem that might be best to addressed to the SuSE forums. Anyways, I don't think you provided enough information.

    My guest system is Windows 2000.
