I have a Macbook Pro 15" Retina and I am waiting an iMac 27 Retina.
To share a single instance of a few virtual machines, I bought a Samsung T5 500GB (USB 3.1 external SSD) and before copying the machines there I wonder if I should format it with AFPS or HPFS. Both computers (will) have High-Sierra so there is no compatibility issue.
I am wondering also if Parallels will benefit from Sparse Files that are supported by AFPS.

Don't you mix up HPFS and HFS?

Yes I typed it wrong. But my question is for AFPS. Does it work with Parallels on external storage? Does it work well?

IoannisD, you can use any. Sparse files works out of the box for any of applications but for virtual machine disk image it doen's not matter.
