We have a user who never turns off his laptop and never disconnects from his 2x. when get gets into the office in the morning and tries to open an app he gets a full screen windows server 2008 login prompt. no other user seems to get this and this user wont use any of the log off functions at the end of the day. would anyone know why he gets this extra login prompt? no screen saver is enabled and no timeouts are involved.
appserver version is 10.0 (build 1145)
client version is 10.1 or 10.5

    Thanks,

    Rav

    Thanks for contacting 2X forums.

Presently it's recommended to use the latest version of 2X software although the issue itself sounds environmental rather than a 2X issue since the RDP server would control user login state. The session doesn't sound like it's disconnecting. Consider a third party program such as backup may be locking the computer prior to a process.

The Session isn't disconnecting. this user leaves his laptop on 24/7 on his desk with published apps open. (he says his computer takes too long to boot and get logged back in). Ill check the RDP settings on the server. the only backup that runs on this server is Veeam as it is not the file server.

This issue looks like a configuration issue. I would suggest contacting 2X Support so that you can provide them with any logs/configuration settings they may need to properly analyse the issue.
