Using MAMP on Parallels v3 and Mac OS X 10.5

Hi Guys,

I have read the post on here and other sites but cannot get a connection from Parallels to my MAMP server on 8888, using the IP address from the Parallels Guest in Mac OS I can get to the folder of 8888 but cannot view the wordpress website held within it will not show but of course works on the Mac no problem HELP any ideas?

I'm able to access MAMP from my guest OS using the IP address of my Mac. So if your Mac's address is 10.10.10.100, the URL is http://10.10.10.100:8888/

One thing that threw me initially is you MUST type the "http://" if you're using Internet Explorer. Otherwise you'll get an error: The webpage cannot be displayed
