i couldn't find any information on whether it should be possible to use virtual machines created on a Mac using Parallels Desktop would work with Parallels Workstation on Windows. In fact, i just tested whether my Windows XP Mac Image works with Workstation Trial on Windows and i am getting "Attention! Parallels Workstation has encountered an internal exception. It is recommended to shutdown virtual machine, exit Parallels Workstation and start it again.". However, i am using the most recent beta version of Desktop and i am not sure whether this possibly created an incompability or something similar.
