VDI Template across multiple hosts?

    Hi,

Either my brain has melted or I'm looking for something that doesn't exist. :)

I've got 2 ESXi hosts managed by VMWare vCenter 6.7 and I have Parallels RAS 16.5 up and running.

I've got a VDI template on one of the hosts and it's published and working fine. Of course over the last couple of weeks demand has soared and I need to add more resources.

Is it possible to use the same VDI template across two hosts so new connections can be connected to VMs on either host? Kind of like a load-balanced configuration? Both hosts share a common datastore.

We only have VMWare essentials license so that may be a limiting factor.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Cheers.

So am I to assume this is not possible?

Creating a VDI template that spans multiple hosts can streamline deployment. Ensure compatibility across hosts, manage storage efficiently, and maintain consistent configurations for an effective VDI template deployment.
