I am having huge issues with Linux Ubuntu 22 virtual machine displaying artifacts I am using mac mini i7 2018 64gb ram and have allocated enough resources to support the machine but still having multiple artifacts issues

Hey, I am having the same issue, already contacted Parallels support and submitted a report. What I noticed is that such artifacts are present with kernel > 5.4.
With kernel 5.4 (distros that still support it), I don't have such artifacts, but the graphic performance are degraded a bit, but more stable compared to kernel 5.15 and higher.
Hope we will get soon a fix for such annoying issue!

I have the same issue, the only one who doesn't noted this issue are the parallels developers

For us to further investigate this issue, while reproducing the issue and collect a technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and provide us with the report's 9-digit ID in reply to this post.
I second this. I was hoping upgrading my Debian VM to trixie and latest Parallels software would help but no. Same video issues in VSCode and/or Cursor... The issue goes away when hardware accelerator is disabled but performance goes to almost a halt... Using MacBook Pro 2015. Furthermore, the latest version of Parallels now jams my Debian VM on the Parallel tools boot initial startup... Really getting tired of this especially when I just paid for my yearly subscription for something that's getting worse over time...Any updates? Paying for a subscription without support and resolution... I think more people will avoid paying for Parallels Desktop... Opened multiple tickets without any resolution after years now... (Yeah, a little bit of drama, but also true)) )
Ok, update here. I finally went on installing VMWare Fusion 12.2.4 (My machine is a MacBook Pro 2015 with MacOS Monterey) and at first glance, the video issues in Cursor aren't there anymore after an hour of usage. It is a free license for personal usage. So in a week or two if everything works well, I'll migrate my other VMs and uninstall Parallels.
