Video Card and Monitor Settings for FC6 or FC7?

Hello, I have a MacBook with 1280X800 screen resolution. What monitor and video card settings should I use to get the best screen resolution for FC6 or FC7 possible? Right now, the only thing that works is LCD panel 1280x800 for monitor and Unknown device for the video card. The resolution is set to 800X600. When I try to increase the resolution, I lose all graphics. Any suggestions?

 

Have you installed Parallels Tools?

 

Yes, I have. It's like the video card setting isn't correct for higher resolutions.

 

My Centos install works fine with LCD as the display setting - I selected 1280 x 1024. and Custom as the video card. I can select any screen res up to 1400 x 1050. If the window is smaller than the selected res I get scroll bars.
