As a day trader, video recording trading session is a vital part of delay review and self assessment/improvement. The major prop houses use this method and have expensive software which performs this function. The purpose is to capture what the trader sees on the screen to have a record of the market conditions at the time the trader makes a decision regarding a trade. It is also vital to simultaneously observe the trader to identify any emotional or attention issues.

The output should be a video of the trading screen with a floating video of the trader from the computer camera. If the two video streams must be fixed, then the trading window should be 80% of the window - but the video of the trader should not block any view of the trading window.
