Virtual machine hangs when trying to enter stand by mode

Hi everybody,
A virtual machine tries to enter stand by mode but hangs. What could I do to force the machine to reboot?

While Hang is it showing any kind of error ?

Hi Paul,
no, the virtual machine states that it is switching to Stand by mode and shows a spinning icon, that's all.
I also tried to shut down Parallels Desktop which worked but after starting up the machine is in the same state.

I was able to solve the problem by restarting my Mac. Thanks anyway for your help.

I also have the same problem, I just restarted mine and it was okay eventually.

I just restarted the computer and everything was ok. Happy cause in this case I solved it on my own.
