    Hi guys,

    I'm developing a new infrastructure for a dedicated server, which I'm doing in Parallels currently so I can use my Mac. Essentially I'm trying to setup a gateway VM, having multiple VM's pointing to that gateway VM as the default_gateway in rc.conf. I've got the FreeBSD VM's setup properly (in terms of enabling the gateway etc.) though they can't see each other at all, and the gateway VM can't see out to the wider network.

    I originally had the gateway virtual network adaptor bridged to the AirPort, then moved it to the Parallels Shared Networking Adaptor, hoping that this would resolve my problems. It did not!

    Any help would be brilliant. In case what I've said doesn't make sense, I've made a "diagram" below of the desired architecture:

    My Mac =>
    Parallels =>
    Gateway VM (points to the physical network adaptor for external access from my mac etc.)
    Client VM (points to gateway VM as default_gateway)
    Client VM (points to gateway VM as default_gateway)
    Client VM (points to gateway VM as default_gateway)

    Note, all the VM's run under the one Parallels instance. The gateway VM doesn't host any VM's!

    Thanks!!

    Pete.
