Virtualize and isolate application

Hello!
I'm deciding on application virtualization technology for our company and would like to know:
Is it possible (and how) to virtualize and isolate old badly written apps using 2x app server xg with ios clients.
The app itself works with some files directly and leave them exclusively open, so it is impossible to run one app more then once on same server in usual way. Is it possible to virtualize and isolate such "misbehaving" app on single 2x app server xg, the way multiple 2x ios clients could work with it simultaneously?

At present 2X ApplicationServer can be publish applications from Microsoft TerminalServers, and having done that applications and desktops can be made accessible to Windows end-users, or MAC, iOS, Android and many other devices.

It's also possible where older applications are concerned to publish from Windows workstations machines, and if multiple end-users require the applications cloned virtual machines can be utilized.
