I am running Vista Ultimate on my MacBook Pro 2.33 core 2. Previously I had XP and it was just as fast as native Xp. With VIsta everythng slows to a crawl, including the Mac OS. Anyone else experience this or find a solution? Videos are almost unwatchable in Vista.

there is a known video and sound problem in vista on PDM. Parallels have acknowledged this and are working to resolve it.

I found that turning off all the vista eye candy (sidebars, themes etc) and setting "Better Performance" under the system properties improved the general overall performance.
