I have installed Vista Ultimate on a XP Sp3 machine and I have selected the Bridged connection with the default adapter that the Parallel tools installed. My XP uses a wireless connection but my guest Vista will not connect to the internet. I have tried all types of choices like using my wireless instead of the Default Adapter, but still I cannot connect. Any suggestions?

Vista guest on XP host in Parallel 2.2

I have no choice of shared network. Just my wireless adapter and Default adapter with the bridge. The is no choice of shared networking. This is versions 2.2 if that makes a difference. The ipconfig for the guest adapter was set to select automatically. If I changed anything I seemed to have a conflict.

I can set all of my ipconfigs to automatic or try setting static addresses and nothing works. I also have the exact opposite set up on another computer except I have Vista as the Host and XP as the guest and it works great. Wonder what the difference is.\?

Could you tell me the build number of that version? I would suggest to uninstall Parallels and install the latest build, check the following KB article for the link:I have no choice of shared network. Check if the Shared networking would be available after that.
