Hi Everyone,
I am using a late 2008 MacBook Pro running OSX 10.6.4. I am taking a web development class, so I am using Parallels 6 to run Visual Studio 2008 Professional on Windows 7 Professional. Here is my issue.
I was in class, and I created a basic ASP.net website. When I tried to add a SQL Server Database to the site, I received the error "Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to the completion of the operation or the service is not responding. I could not figure this out.
I went home that night, opened up the website in VS2008 on the same computer, and I was able to add the database successfully.
Two days later, I tried another website at school, and I received the error. A few hours later, while still at school, it worked.
This is obviously not happening all the time, but it seems to be happening at the most critical times.
Any suggestions?
