Help !!!
I have been very happy with Parallels since i installed it in Sept 06. No problems.
yesterday, i upgraded to Build 3188.. after several start up issues i got my VM running (Windows XP Pro, SP 2).
When i re-opened Parallels again, it kept asking me to create a new VM (it refused to recognize already installed VM's).
As a result every time i log in an "OS installation assistance" dialog box opens up. Earlier, parallels would simply go to a list of my "Saved VM's" and ask me which one would i like to open.
So i am left with only two choices -
1. Either spend 1/2 hour every day creating a new VM, or
2. Go to User/Library/Parallels/... dig out the relevant .PSV file and "click" open.
Sort of round about way of opening Parallels, and makes the icon on my dock irrelevant..
My question?
- is there a way to resolve this issue?
- can anyone throw some light on this..
thanks
