The problem I'm having isn't actually unique to Parallels Workstation. In fact, the problem of crashing happens in VirtualPC for Mac (PPC, obviously) as well as QEMU-based emulators including Q and iEmulator, i.e. this piece of ActiveX can crash pretty much all Mac emulation/virtualization solution I've put my hands on. But I want to see if the developers of PW can see what's going on and maybe even provide a workaround for it.
The ActiveX in question is called SoftCamp Secure Keystroke, and appears in Internet Explorer's insalled objects list as 'SCSK'. It's a keystroke logging prevention software developed by SoftCamp.

Now, in addition to the certificate managing ActiveX control needed for the actual online transaction, this software is a mandatory install for many of the online banking services in Korea. Quite annoying, if it's the culprit for crashing the VM, which means I can't use the said online banking services.
Here's how it goes. I connect to an online banking website, which will automatically check to see if I have installed the certificate manager, the keystroke logging preventor, and a firewall software. After they're confirmed to be installed, it'll move onto the actual main page. I would click on the login button and the certificate manager dialog box would pop up and prompt me to select a valid certificate for logging into the online banking system.
I need to enter the password for the certificate, but when I select a certificate and activate the input box for the password, the keystroke logging preventor would get activated and promptly crash the VM.
I'm not sure what kind of strong anti-hacking measures are being used by the software, but it's sufficient enough to kill the virtualized environment.
