vmtools md5 checksum error

Bit poster
After searching hi and lo, I can't find anything to help my problem.
I'm running parallels 3 (build 5638) and ubuntu 8.10
When I follow the instructions, I get this:
/cdrom $ sudo sh parallels-tools.run
Verifying archive integrity...Error in MD5 checksums: dc9d059d0c44eeba8a2392b824712afb is different from 7fb4b42dee3bfaaee7f6d45e20635980
Before I was getting the xorg error. I updated to the newest build and now get the above message. Help!
