Volume still does not work right in RC1922

Can someone please tell my why my volume still does not work right? I have RC 1922 and 10.4.8 installed. If I use my volume up and down keys I get the sound from my internal speaker. Everything else comes from my regular speakers.

It’s very annoying not being able to use my volume in either OS. The odd thing is it worked after I installed 10.4.8 but once I came back from this weekend it stopped working.

I have a Mac Pro 2.66 and 4GB of RAM.
 
Still not working

A friend of mine recommended updating my Parallels Tools to see if that help. Tired it, that didn't work either.
 
What application are you using in the guest OS that is playing sound? I had a similar issue where MusicMatch volume was controlling the sound of my computer. I had to make sure that I maximized the volume of all the applications in the guest OS and then the apple music volume works properly. Hope this works for you.
