You can turn off Intel VTx support in the settings for the VM. Configuration | Advanced, uncheck Enable Intel VT-x support.
What's happening? I am experiencing no crashes and doubt there's a flaw in VTx that could cause this. Did you find a technote or something from Intel? If so, please post it. I am curious. And sorry to hear you are having trouble.
