Greetings, all.
I run Parallels Desktop (build 5584) on a Core Duo Mac mini running at 1.66 GHz, with 2GB RAM. I'm running OS X 10.5.2 with all updates.
I use it to run two guest OSes, 24x7: one instance of Parallels runs XP; the other runs Linux.
Sometimes I find that I am unable to launch one or the other .pvs file, and sometimes I find that I am flat unable to launch Parallels Desktop - it hangs on launch.
This happens on occasion, and my usual bag o' tricks for correcting this includes:
- Reinstall Parallels Desktop
- Reboot the system
- Run Disk Utility to repair permissions
Today none of these fixes works, and Parallels Desktop hangs on launch.
Any idea what might be causing this?
