Which guest supports 8+ SCSI disks?

I've tried with SuSE 10, but Parallels says that it only supports disks 0:0 through 6:0. Red Hat 4 and 5 don't even recognize the SCSI disks (is there a patch for that?).

So, the question is if there is any Linux OS that allows me to use more than 7 SCSI virtual disks? I want to publish them as iSCSI disks to other VMs so that I can test some SAN (storage area network) software (which requires direct access to the disks). It would improve my ability to test if I could have more than 7 disks to work with.

I just ran through ALL the "OS type" and "OS version" combinations with a VM with 15 SCSI disks and none of them would let me create a guest VM with 15 SCSI disks. All of the attempts ended with a dialog coming up saying "The allowed number of SCSI devices for this virtual machine has been exceeded. The total number of SCSI devices in the virtual machine configuration cannot be greater than 7. Remove some of the devices and try again."

Yet the User Guide documentation on page 15 clearly says that you can have 15 SCSI devices:

'SCSI Devices Up to 15 SCSI devices"

So, what's the magic to get it to work?
