I have my VMs set to automatically restore the last state when I load Parallels, then quit parallels when I have the VM settings set to quit Parallels. Yet every once in a while, I want to edit the settings, and want Parallels to not quit, or not automatically load my PC when I click the icon. I think, surely the people at Parallels have put in a way to override this with a command or shift key, right? Yet nothing seems to work. I can change the setting, but it's one of those ideas that engineers naturally have, right? Hold the shift key to toggle the behavior?
