Why coherence mode very slow?

Ever since I upgraded to the current build running in coherence modes seems extremely slow. Expose is very slugish and the graphics are very low quality also.

I have 3GB of total ram on my ram and 1GB which I allocate to parallels so there should be no reason for this.

any help would be appreciated.

No I did not. Could you give me the proper steps in doing so?

Also, do you know what could be causing this problem?

Hello,

Please do the following:
1. Launch your Windows XP.
2. Open Add/Remove programs control panel in Windows and remove Parallels Tools if present.
3. Reboot Windows.
4. Install Parallels Tools using "Install Parallels Tools .." menu item in the Action menu of the Parallels Desktop application.
5. Reboot Windows.

It is necessary to re-install Parallels Tools after every upgrade. So may be it's the problem.
