Why do I get asked to verify my license?

I migrated a new HP box that came with XP Pro pre-installed. This seemed like a good way to allow users to acclimate themselves to their new Macs and still have their old PC.
Migration went fine.
However, after Windows network authentication and before getting to a desktop it asks me to verify my license and to call Microsoft.

I was planing on giving these computers to other users that have even older PCs and I have a corporate license for more copies of XP than I have installed.

Is there an easy way around this? That does not involve endless time on the phone with MS?
 
During migration hardware is changed, and Microsoft Windows requires activation, yo can call Microsoft without problems, and describe that you migrated your PC
