Hi all... I have a sysprepped Vista SP1 image that I install on the PCs here. I am able to install this image into a Parallels' VM. After I restart after copying the image into the VM, the startup follows the normal routine: 1) Black screen about windows starting up... (restart) 2) Blue-Green screen with the spinning circle (restart) But after the *third* reboot -- where sysprepped Vista normally goes through calculating the experience index, etc. -- this appears to get bypassed and it goes right to the login screen. Which is fine. But it's different behavior from what a normal Windows box does. Is there any reason for this? Or -- more to the point -- what exactly is Parallels doing to make this bypass the regular startup routines? (This is with build 5600...)
