Why does not MacOS as a guest system allow more than 256G for Graphics?

Hi there, I have a VM running MacOS Big Sur and sometimes it feels slow because it lags of graphics memory (is what I guess). The host has 32G of RAM so I have allocated 2G of memory for video but the guest OS doesn't seem to be taken them since it only displays 256M. I have attached a few screenshots from the guest OS showing the graphic memory and a weird scenario for the main RAM. Also, I have attached some of the configurations from Parallels. Notice how many memory I do have allocated for such resources. Any explanation for why is this not working as expected? What I am missing here?
