im new to mac, and i downloaded this parallels program to run windows xp on it, but its not working. all it keeps doing is have me do a system restore everytime i try to run it. do you know what im doing wrong?

Those diskes are usually created by the manufacturer of the computer and are usually keyed to the hardware and possibly invoke files that are stored on a hidden partition on the hard disk of said hardware.
You need a full install CD
