Great! You can try the following steps to fix the issue if you experience it in the future.My problem seems to have settled down, and the culprit seems to have been Windows updater. The problem stopped as soon as I switched it off. I have switched it back on, so far so good.
1.Quit from Parallels Desktop
2. Open Terminal.app and
execute these commands:
cd /Users/username/Library/Logs/CrashReporter
tar czf ~/Desktop/MobileDevice.tgz MobileDevice
mv MobileDevice MobileDevice.old
where username is the name of your Mac user.
3. Open Parallels Desktop and check the issue
