we just purchased the Apple Thunderbolt DIsplay - working with a MAcbook Pro 2011. The Ethernet cable is plugged
into the Thunderbolt display.
We have no problems with Ethernet under Mac Os Lion - but unfortunately under Windows XP / Parallels.
As soon as i connect the Thunderbolt Display, Parallels always asks to decide between Win XP and Mac Os - also if i choose one of both with "alt".
The problem is - Parallels shows me the "display ethernet adapter" and WinXp also show a working the ethernet connection - but Internet doesn´t work. As soon as i switch for some seconds to Wifi and then switch again to "display ethernet adapter" it starts working.
The question is - could this be a Win Xp problem or even a problem with Parallels ? I don´t like to always switch between the network adapter until it finally works.
