Window 10 Technical version expired

I have windows 10 technical version which has expired resulting in a BLUE recovery screen asking me to HIT F8 for Start Up setting or to HIT Enter to Try again.
I have Parallels 10 with OS El Capitan. I downloaded Windows 10 from the Microsoft site and have been unable to Install on my Laptop.
Please help in getting this installed and running in Parallels
 
Are you trying to install it into a virtual machine to get it running again, or are you trying to install it into a brand new virtual window? If the latter, what happens when you try creating a new virtual machine through the install process, telling it where the .msi file is?
 
Thanks Robert. I did get it installed, although, I'm having trouble getting 1 specific program to transfer over from Windows 10 Tech to Windows 10.1. All of my files and other folders have though. When I try to open this program it takes me to Windows 10 Tech, which is obsolete and won't open.
Any recommendations.
