Windows 10 wont install

I have just installed Parallels 11 on a brand new MacAir and have checked it is up to date. I have purchased Windows 10 from Microsoft on a USB stick and tried to install it. Have followed the instructions exactly but after I enter the Product Key the Wizard just goes into hang mode and won't install. The technical data log shows that installation isn't happening.
