Windows 11 ARM License Required:

Aries,
Thank you for your response. I must not have used the version that came with Parallel v18. When I look in Windows system info it shows I'm running Windows 11 Home. I believe I'm good. May I ask what Windows 11 version you are running?

Thanks

Stan

I needed to activate my Windows license after installing Windows 11 ARM in Parallels.
My "regular" Windows 11 Pro license, bought directly from Microsoft, worked.

I installed Windows 11 ARM in Parallels 18 and it works but shows the watermark on the desktop and the notification in the settings that it is not activated. I tried changing the activation code in settings to codes that I have for Windows 11 Pro but neither of them worked?
Any ideas why?

Usually you can only use an activation code on 1 PC. You usually get presented with a by-phone activation option.
My brand new Windows 11 Pro license worked without issue in Windows for ARM in Parallels Desktop 18.

When you buy Parallels, you do not buy a license for Windows (or any other operating system, it's for Parallels only. In order to activate Windows, you must have a Windows license. In Windows 11, if you go to Settings/Activation there is a method to reuse a previous license. If you do not follow that procedure, you cannot reuse a previous license.
