We recently purchased the Apple M1 Mac Studio to use as a dual software development environment - in Windows 11 we need to start and run ODBC databases such as SAP SQL Anywhere as well as various development tools.
Almost immediately we ran into a collection of problems. One longer file transfers (1/2 GB) using remote desktop from within Windows 11 repeatedly failed (worked in MAC environment). Attempting to install 64 bit ODBC drivers always fails with error 193. Upon investigation, both problems were known about for some time.
We observed other stange errors, mislabeling of objects and misbehavior when searching for system objects.
These were critcal errors that prevented our using the Mac Studio for Windows Development.
