Windows 2012/Windows 8

    When I connect to Windows 8/Windows 2012 I get a blank screen. Anyone else?

    what version of the client are you using to connect?

    I've been having the same problem. I am unable to RDP to any machine running Windows 8 or Server 2012.

    I am using version 10.5.1298, which is the latest from the Google Play Store

    I have not tried this yet, but I saw on another thread that the black screen only occurred where the target machine had an existing user logged on?

    it is possible that we need to wait for an update to the Android client

    I too am unable to connect to any of my newly upgraded to Win 8 Pro PCs. Can connect to Win 7s OK. Have latest version. Have tried disable NLA and have made sure the target PC does not have a user/acct logged in as well without any luck. Are there any suggestions? This is a great tool and hope to get it back in use on my Win 8 machines soon. Thank you for your responses. Steve

    The latest Android Client supports connections with Win8.

    So, will the 2x client work with windows 2012 or not? I just installed the latest client 10.5.1346 from the google store but still all I get is a blank screen.
    I have seen several posts on this but no actual answer........
    I saw one post that said it works, but in fact it does not........
    any update at all?

    just tested and it works for me on my 2012 server:

    the client was updated ages ago. You might want to either check with 2x support but it works so you might want to check your machine

    OK, turns out that Network Level Security must be turned off at the server for the 2x client to work.
    I don't much like that.
    Instead I will use Remotix RDP for the client. It is not free, but at least it works without having to turn off features.

    Same here I got a blank screen and my is version 10.5.1298..

    If you update to the latest version it should tell you if you have a security settings error or not? If it is an NLA issue you'll have to either disable NLA or wait till they issue a version that supports it.
