Windows 7 64 bit Vista 32 bit Parallels 5.0

I currently am running MAC OS X 10.6.2 and Windows Vista 32 bit (one copy) for both Boot Camp and Parallels 5.0. I want to upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit and do not know how to proceed - what steps to take and in what order. I have some production files in Windows Vista. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Upgrade from 32-bit version to 64-bit version is not possible. Morover, at the moment Windows 7 (even 32-bit version) is not supported by Apple's Boot Camp.
