Windows 7 Backup can't use a \\.psf\ share as target

If you try it, you can select a \\.psf\ share but the Ok button stays greyed. It looks like it wants a username and password (using those of the currently logged in user should be ok) but that doesn't help.

The Windows 7 File Explorer (shell) can perfectly browse and work with such shared folders.

Same problem. Any progress?

Any progress?

I want to run Windows 7 Backup through a Parallels 6 shared drive or a shared folder. Both require a username/password. Any reasonable input for username/password is a failure.

Suggestions?
