Windows 7 desktop icons won't stay in place

I would like to run Windows 7 in Full Screen mode and keep my icons where I left them however each time I leave my session and come back, all of the icons on the Windows 7 desktop revert back to positions different from where I left them. Is there a way to maintain the icon positions?

Download and install the freeware application DesktopOK at CNET: http://download.cnet.com/DesktopOK/3000-2072_4-10912853.html?tag=mncol;8

Read the description so that you are sure to SAVE before you try any other commands that might rearrange your icons. In addition to the description there, I found that my app was not in English. However, under the DesktopOK pull-down menu is an entry "Language". Select that and then highlight English and you are good-to-go.
