I did a clean install of Windows 7 under Parallels 13 about 6 months ago and ran Windows Update until everything was installed. The disk image was ~20GB.
I updated again in July and the disk image jumped to ~40GB. Windows Update only downloaded ~1GB of files.
I've upgraded to Parallels 14 on the promise of reclaimed disk space. It hasn't changed the size of the disk image at all. What a waste of money.
Is there anything I can do to get the disk image back down to 20GB? I hardly ever need Windows - hence still being on Windows 7 - so don't want to give over so much space to it.
Also, a little bit unimpressed that there is no way of contacting Parallels Support directly if you don't have Facebook or Twitter...
