Windows 8.1 in full screen

Hi if i set up a second desktop in the Mac host and run windows 8.1 in full screen, if i right click on my desktop the response is really slow, is this normal? I also have regular occasions when i have to manually refresh the windows desktop for folder name changes to appear.
